This was my first time doing a Color Still Life Project. It was really fun for me because my fruits actually looked some what real. It was fascinating that coloring something a certain way can change the whole look of it. The objects were places in front of us and we draw what we saw and colored them as they appeared. After that we had to figure out what to do with the background which was really hard. I personally needed more time to finish my artwork because I think art projects like this need more time so they can look real. This was an awesome art project and I want to do more like this later on.

10/6/2008 Cast Shadow Project
This was the cast shadow project. I have done something similar to this in Art 1 and everyone had to draw boots. I liked the fact that this was our choice of object because it made it special and unique. I improved a lot more then last year and learned how to shade better. I thought I knew how to shade perfectly but I learned so much more from Mr. Holland. I have a lot more to learn about adding shadow on objects and I am looking forward to gaining more knowledge. I personally enjoyed the cast shadow project and learned a lot from it.

Hi my name is Afia Afrin and my preferred type of art has to be painting or sketching. I love drawings that look so realistic that its hard to tell the diversity or the use of there color so real. Things such as that really interest me in art. This year in class I would like to progress my art skills on painting and sketching as well as other things.
